Lviv is emerging as Ukraine's main tourist jewel. It has the untouched quality Prague used to have, although, as the city is hosting several group matches during Euro 2012, this may change. The city is an architectural time capsule, with buildings representing periods from the 13th 'till 21st centuries. The heart of the city is the elegant market square, developed during the 16th and 18th centuries, and each of the 44 houses around it has its own story. Lwów (Pools), Lemberg (Duits), Leopolis (Latijn), Lvov (Russisch), Lviv (Oekraiens). Onder verschillende namen staat de stad bekend, verschillende namen die verwijzen naar verschillende overheersers. Lvov is een stad met een rijke geschiedenis.  En een prachtige stad, deze ervaring had ik niet graag willen missen!
